if MAPs try to tell you to accept these thoughts as a part of you, tell them to kindly fuck off. they are not trying to help you or validate you. they are trying to validate themselves only.
the reason these thoughts feel so wrong is that they ARE. don’t listen to anyone who tells you they are natural or a part of your identity. just because it feels good doesn’t mean it’s healthy.
OCD is not your fault, but it is your responsibility to get treatment for it. if you have been waiting for a sign to get help, THIS IS YOUR SIGN. find someone who can help. you can even look up free mental health counseling online. you can be free of this and you deserve it.
